Dr. Gurpreet Singh, MD, CCFP
Dr. Gurpreet Singh completed his family medicine residency from University at Buffalo, NY in 2012. Following post graduation, he worked at Urgent care/ Walk-in Clinic in Kingston, Ontario. He recently moved to GTA and has joined Wellmedica clinic. Dr. Singh holds certification by College of Family Physicians of Canada and American Board of Family Medicine. He is highly motivated, dedicated and clinically competent general practitioner with experience in providing care to all age groups. Further, Dr Singh has a special interest in managing skin diseases and minor surgical procedures including joint injections. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu languages.
Dr. Dukhant Singh Multani MD, CCFP
Dr. Multani graduated in 2003 from Crimea state medical university, Simferopol, Ukraine. He practised as a General Practitioner in India and then in 2009 joined Internal Medicine Residency in Canton, Ohio, USA. Completed his residency in 2012.
Worked as a General Internist at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Buffalo, NY. Then obtained CPSO registration certificate/License as a General Practitioner in March 2015. Dr. Multani has a vast experience in treating multiple medical problems including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, asthma, COPD, stroke and multiple rheumatological disorders.
Dr. Danit Fischtein, MD, CCFP
Dr. Fischtein is a family physician accepting new patients. She attended medical school in England and finished residency at Dalhousie University. She received IBLCE certification as a lactation consultant as well as SANE certification in sexual assault. Previously, she worked as and trained Registered Nurses in the homecare field, and worked as a paramedic. She is accepting new patients in family medicine as well as mothers (prenatal and postnatal) and babies for breastfeeding support. Home visits may also be available. She also offers psychotherapy, weight loss, and smoking cessation support. She is fluent in English and Hebrew.
Dr. Dave Chaudhary Jr, MD, CCFP
Dr. Dave Chaudhary Jr is new Family Medicine Physician who has recently completed his Residency from the University at Buffalo in 2016. He is originally from Brampton Ontario, and has a strong passion for providing high quality patient care in his own community. Dr. Chaudhary is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, American Board of Family Medicine and College of Family Physicians of Canada certified. He is a Physician with expertise in health maintenance, overall wellness, chronic disease management such as Hypertension, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Cardiovascular disease, Joint pain, Headaches, COPD, Asthma, and various mental health issues. He is also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati as well.

Antonella Turchiaro, R.Tcmp, R.Ac
Antonella Turchiaro is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
Inspired by her own life altering event and with the success of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) treatments, she became fascinated and passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and alternative medicine in general.
After completing a degree program at York University, she further pursued her education in TCM.
In 2003 she graduated from the prestigious program at the TSTCM with a Doctorate Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also certified in clean needle technique, through the council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
She ran her own successful clinic for 12 years and is happy to be part of the Wellmedica Team.
She brings a breadth of experience, knowledge and expertise to Wellmedica. Her background includes mentoring, training, lecturer and seminar teacher. She is fluent in English and Italian, and has working knowledge of Spanish.
She is looking forward to becoming involved in research studies and completing her first book regarding Women’s health and Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Eric Grief, MD, C.C.F.P.
Dr. Eric Grief graduated medical school from University of Toronto then completed his family medicine residency from McGill University in Montreal in 1993. Eric has worked as a full service family doctor at the Oakville-Trafalgar, Mount Sinai and Whitby Mental Health Hospitals. He has trained family doctors and nurse practitioners. His clinical interests include cardiology, psychiatry-psychotherapy and weight loss management. He is fluent in both English and French and can converse in Spanish and Hebrew.
In addition to family medicine, Eric will be offering group weight loss and anxiety counselling.
Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Clive Sinoff, MD, FRCP(C)
Dr. Sinoff is a General Internist, board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, where he had extensive postgraduate training and clinical experience.
Dr. Sinoff places strong emphasis on direct patient interaction, clinical bedside diagnosis and management of complex medical problems. In addition, he has concentrated on the role of anxiety and depression in general medical problems, especially in chronic pain. He is careful to explain the condition and reasons for his recommendations.
After seeing disappointing results in many sufferers with chronic pain, Dr. Sinoff sought and developed special expertise in musculoskeletal pain, using Regenerative Injections (Prolotherapy) and other highly effective, but lesser known treatments. These techniques produce remarkable long term results in relieving pain without surgery or following failed surgery.
Regenerative Injections* are highly successful in reducing musculoskeletal pain by inducing healing and regeneration of damaged tissue, especially ligaments, tendons and fibrous tissue. Dr. Poli Lekas M.Sc., M.D., F.R.C.P.(C)
Dr. Lekas is a board certified General Internist and Nephrologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She obtained her medical degree in 2004 from the University of Toronto. She completed her General Internal Medicine training in 2007 through the University of Ottawa, Ontario and subspecialty training in Nephrology at McMaster University, Ontario.
Dr. Lekas is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She has co-authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her main interests include management of hypertension, heart failure and prevention and management of diabetic complications.
Dr. Faisal Al-Mohammedi, MD, RCPSC & Associates
Dr. Faisal Al-Mohammedi is a board certified dermatologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Dermatology. He completed his training in dermatology at the University of Toronto and has years of experience in medical and procedural dermatology. He has many publications in well known and peer-reviewed medical journals. He is also actively involved in teaching medical students and dermatology residents at the University of Toronto. His main interest is skin tumors, cutaneous inflammatory diseases and minor cosmetic procedures to face and body.
Dr. Yvette Miller-Monthrope, M.D., MSc, F.R.C.P. (C), F.A.B.D
Dr. Yvette Miller-Monthrope is a board certified dermatologist and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and the American Board of Dermatology. She obtained a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Western Ontario, and then went on to complete her medical degree, and residency training in dermatology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Yvette Miller-Monthrope has worked as an academic dermatologist and dermatology teacher at the University of Toronto and its associated hospitals since completing her residency in 2010. During this time, she also completed a Masters degree in Health Practitioner Education. As a clinical teacher, she served as the director of undergraduate dermatology education at the University of Toronto and has been involved in teaching hundreds of medical students and residents. Dr. Yvette Miller-Monthrope is passionate about teaching, and is honored to have been the recipient of several teaching awards. She is thrilled to bring her expertise learned from this academic environment to patients in a community setting at Wellmedica.
Dr. Yvette Miller-Monthrope has a special interest in treating disorders of pigmentation. This led her to serve as the co-director of the ethnic skin research unit (ESRU) at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto. In addition she is committed to the prevention and management of skin cancer, the management of inflammatory dermatoses and to performing minor cosmetic procedures on the face and body.
Dr. Viba Malaiyandi, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Corbo studied medicine at McMaster University and completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto. He is practicing general and cosmetic dermatology and will also be training residents in Family Medicine in his clinic from McMaster University.
Type of disorders include: Inflammatory, bullous, hair & nail, infectious and drug-related skin conditions, amongst others.
Dr. Marshall Zaitlen, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Marshall Zaitlen is a Neurologist board certified by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada also American Board of Neurology in the USA. He obtained his Medical Degree 1979 at the University of Saskatchewan, General Medicine in Boston USA, specialty in Neurology at Texas Medical Centre and Baylor University, then fellowship in Electrophysiology studies to 1985. And has many years experience and since then in practice and in offices and hospitals.
Dr. Zaitlen does full general neurology also EMG (EMG/nerve conductions) for carpal tunnel and other nerves, neck and back, diabetes and other neuropathies, neuromuscular diseases, strokes and prevention, dementias, seizures, tremors and movement disorders, headaches, and other problems evaluations and treatments.
Dr. David Butters, M.D., FRCS(C)
Dr. Butters graduated from the University of Ottawa, School of Medicine, in 1979 and obtained his specialty degree in Urology in 1984. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has been practicing in Northern Ontario for the last three years and in the United States of America for the ten years prior to that.
His practice includes general adult and pediatric complaints of incontinence, urinary complaints such as frequency of urination and bedwetting as well as urinary tract infections. Blood in the urine and genital abnormalities are also seen in the office. In the adult population, patients with urinary cancers are seen as well as patients with kidney stones, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, chordee, benign prostate hypertrophy, genital abnormalities and overactive bladder symptoms.
No hospital surgical procedures are being offered but plans for the future include carrying out vasectomy, cystoscopy and urodynamic testing with physiotherapy for stress incontinence. Prostate biopsies may be possible in the future as well as minimally invasive treatment of enlarged prostate.
Dr. Butters has led many discussion groups for pharmaceutical companies and for prostate cancer survivor groups. He personally authored and designed a websitefifteen years ago for the discussion of various urologic cancers which served as a template for the later, much larger websites now in existence. He has remained innovative and informed despite having been in continuous practice over the last thirty-five years.
He is excellent with children and polite and attentive with his adult patients. He will care about your needs and wishes and will try to set you on the right path to urinary good health.

Dr. Sudip Datta, M.D., F.R.C.P.C., F.A.C.C.,
Dr. Datta is a board certified Cardiologist by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He obtained his medical degree in 2001 from the University of Calgary and his cardiology imaging fellowship (2007) from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Datta has completed an additional year (2009) of advanced cardiology imaging training at the University of Harvard School of Medicine.
Dr. Datta is an author of numerous scientific peer-reviewed publications. Prior to joining the WellMedica team, Dr. Datta has led the Advanced Imaging Clinical Invasive Cardiology departments of the States of Missouri and Tennessee Regional Medical Centers.
Dr. Bernard Greisman, M.D., F.R.C.S.C, F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Greisman obtained his medical degree in 1967 from the University of Ottawa and his specialty degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1972 from Queens University, Ontario. He is a Fellow in the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also belongs to the Royal College of Obstetricians/Gynecologists of Canada, Society of Obstetricians/Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC), American College of Obstetricians/Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).
Currently, Dr. Greisman provides quality medical care in the form of gynecology consultations at WellMedica Clinic. His gynecology consultations include the topics of: general gynecologic examinations, family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause management, infertility, abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted infections, IUCD insertion and removal, menopause , urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction and others. Dr. Greisman does not offer obstetric care or hospital surgical care.
Foot Care / Chiropody
Sameer Sekhon, HBSc, D. Podiatric Medicine (Registered Chiropodist)
Sameer Sekhon holds an HBSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. He then completed his post-graduate designation in Podiatric Medicine, and since has completed rotations at the Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Rehab Hospital, Women’s College Hospital and the private surgical clinics of the Podiatry Associates at various locations across Ontario. He later went on to join the Podiatry Associates before heading off and opening his first clinic in Brampton. After successful 3 years of his own practice, he has now joined our team at WellMedica. Sameer Sekhon also sits on the board of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and is the official Foot Specialist for the South Asian Diabetes Expo hosted every year by the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Michael C. Belcon, MD, PhD, FRCPC.
Dr. Belcon graduated magna cum laude from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Chemistry. Then, after graduating with a MD degree from the Howard University, College of Medicine, Washington, DC, he returned to Canada to complete postgraduate studies at McMaster University Postgraduate Medicine Training Program where he also simultaneously obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Science, Health Research Methodology (DM&E). He completed postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine and the sub-specialties of Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology & Allergy from McMaster University Postgraduate Medicine Training Program. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a Board Certified Clinical Densitometrist from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
He subsequently obtained a Master’s (MPH) and a PhD degree in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Florida International University, Miami where he did epidemiological research, his PhD thesis and published numerous articles on Health Disparities in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Dr. Belcon then assumed a position on the faculty of the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University, as Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, where he taught Medical Students, Interns, Residents and Fellows. He also began research in outcome-disparities in systemic lupus erythematosus patients before returning to clinical practice with WellMedica Specialty Clinic in Canada.
He is a longtime member of the Ontario Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association and the American Medical Association; he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Belcon is devoted to treating patients with complex medical conditions including immune mediated and connective tissue disorders. He focuses on improving patients' quality of life by using safe and effective ways to relieve pain, prevent joint/tissue damage and control disease activity. This stems from his sustained and concerted interest in managing complex Rheumatological and Immunological disorders. At the same time he hopes to grow a thriving Allergy practice in Southern Ontario with WellMedica.
